Dubai: Preparations for the 2023 edition of the ‘Tilt Festival and Conference’ have begun, organizers have announced. It aims to make it the biggest event ever in terms of fundraising for voluntary organizations through coordinated activities and partnerships.
After the great success of this year’s Tilt Festival and Conference held at the Dubai Taj Hotel, it has been announced that the preparations for the next year have started. This time the events became a huge success with the participation of government officials, artists, changemakers, philanthropists and many businessmen in the UAE. Organized in collaboration with ‘Art Be A Party’, the event raised AED 243,000 for the Dubai Cares project under the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) and UNICEF India. The grand finale featured musical performances by longtime collaborators and two-time Grammy Award winner and US Billboard #1 artist Ricky Cage and Akshay Sarin.
“Dubai is a multifaceted cultural hub of art, diversity and creativity, and that’s why we’re bringing this great event that crosses borders to Dubai for the first time. People from over 200 countries live here in one city. Our festival is about bringing people together for greater good,” said Akshay Sarin, founder of Tilt Festival and Conference.
Dubai has a clear vision in the creative sector. Part of it is the much-anticipated policies such as the Dubai Creative Economy Strategy to further strengthen this important sector. Following this, and in light of the unprecedented success of the Tilt Festival and Conference in Dubai, we begin preparations for the 2023 edition. Tilt Festival and Conference was founded in 2010 by Akshay Sarin, a musician and social investor who has proven his ability in the fields of entrepreneurship, creative leadership, innovation, culture marketing and philanthropy.
The Tilt Festival and Conference brings together artists, thought leaders, CEOs, philanthropists, creatives and entrepreneurs from around the world to bring together global changemakers to share their perspectives and experiences and discuss current global challenges. Sarin said that tilt festival and management is organizing a road show as part of strengthening cooperation with local organizations and individuals. Sarin explained that everyone will get an opportunity to contribute to their community.
