In the note “Chronicles of old Tucumán: Julio López Mañán, an exceptional and restless subtle spirit” (06/25), signed by José María Posse. In the section “Literary Work” two paragraphs were transcribed without indicating that they are my authorship. One of them begins with the quote “The matters dealt with in it…” and ends with “… from the San Javier hill to the western limit of the province”; the other begins by saying “Inside it, criminal decrees and laws were reproduced…” and closes with “… more recently by the Miguel Lillo Foundation, in 2016”. Both are copied verbatim from my Facebook post “History”; Books. Julio López Mañán (1916): ‘Old Tucumán. Annotations and documents ‘, Buenos Aires ”, dated August 31, 2022, which is publicly accessible and which the author of the aforementioned journalistic article asked to share on his social networks. As a member of the Junta de Estudios Históricos de Tucumán, I want to point out that it is typical of the historian’s job to refer to the sources that nourish his research.
