A significant increase in two-wheeled deliveries in January 2023 compared to January of last year, according to the Ministry of Transportation’s products report. On January 22, 2,070 two-wheeled vehicles were delivered in Israel and in January 2023, 2,645 deliveries were made – an increase of about 28%.

The leading brands for this month are Sanyang (577 deliveries) with the leading model being the 125 JOYRIDE, Honda (487 deliveries) led by the ADV 350, Yamaha (370 deliveries) led by the TMAX, and Kawasaki (110 deliveries) with the -Z900. The 900 MT09, Z and Tenara 700 models were the best-selling motorcycles in Israel in January 2023.

In the meantime of course, certainly in the field of four wheels, Hyundai is still the leading car brand in Israel, followed by Kia and Mazda, which surprised Toyota and dropped it to fourth place in the first ranking of 2023.

Tomer Komarov, CEO of Metro Motor: “The data indicates the continuation of the trend of switching to two-wheelers, which is a direct result of the increasing traffic congestion. We also see an increase in the intermediate category, that is, scooters used for urban and interurban travel, with which you can easily overcome the traffic congestion at the entrances and exits from the cities.”
