Titov proposed to introduce new measures to support business when the restrictions are extended

Concessional loans for businesses under the “FOT 3.0” program should be made irrecoverable when the antiquated restrictions are extended, as it was provided for by the previous “FOT 2.0” program. Such an initiative was put forward by Boris Titov, plenipotentiary under the President of the Russian Federation for the protection of the rights of entrepreneurs.

“We are talking about tax restructuring, at least for the fourth quarter of 2021. We are also talking about the fact that direct subsidies should be considered, possibly in the future. If restrictions are to be extended, including in the form of QR codes, it must be a monthly history. We consider this to be the main thing, ”TASS quotes Titov as saying at the conference“ Business Defense 2.0: Restart. Digital solutions “.

In addition, the business ombudsman spoke in favor of removing restrictions on the occupancy of halls and opening hours when introducing the QR code system.

The program of support for small and medium-sized businesses “FOT 3.0” will operate until December 30. It enables entrepreneurs to get a soft loan at a rate of 3% per annum for 18 months. The key condition for obtaining a loan is to maintain the number of employees at a level of at least 90%.

According to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, as of November 18, credit institutions had received over 27,000 applications for a soft loan amounting to over RUB 100 billion, of which 11,000 applications for over RUB 30 billion were approved.
