‘Kolambi’, directed by TK Rajeev Kumar and starring Nithya Menon in the lead role, will be released on December 24 on M Talkie OTD platform.
Prior to its release, the film won National Award (Prabha Verma – Best Lyricist) and State Award (Madhushree Narayanan – Best Singer). The cinematography of the film is by Ravi Varman. Sabu Cyril also handles the production design.
The script of the film has been written by Dr. KM Venugopal along with the director. The music is composed by Ramesh Narayanan with lyrics by Prabha Varma. NM Badusha will be the production controller and Rasool Pookutty will be the sound director.
Kolambi is aimed at international film audiences and festivals. Nithya Menon will be making a comeback in TK Rajeev Kumar’s film after the live Oru Penkutty. Kolambi is Rajeev Kumar’s 25th film. All the three songs in the film, including the one sung by Bombay Jayasree, have already caught the attention of the audience.
