The first call of a new service for Chirey Motor México was completed with the unloading of 3,427 imported cars from the ship “M/N Jiuyang Fortune”.
Thus, the Mazatlán Maritime Terminal (TMAZ) celebrated the start of its new service.
“We are proud to continue positioning ourselves as a relevant player in the automotive industry, putting our expertise at the service of foreign trade. Our geographic location facilitates distribution in the north and northeast region, making the offer more competitive for our customers and giving people more options,” said TMAZ general manager Mauricio Ortiz.
He stressed that the terminal staff is highly trained for this type of shipment, which has developed special operating systems to handle this type of cargo. In 2022 it transferred more than 13,000 units.
Chirey has 42 distributors in the main cities of Mexico and its goal is to reach 70 by the end of 2023. In 2022, it sold 12,500 units in that country.
