Ernakulam: Complaint that the agent trapped Malayalis in the international sexchat racket in Cambodia by extorting lakhs in the name of typist visa. Agents from Pathanamthitta and Kottayam trapped the Malayalis in employment fraud. Arunkumar, a native of Konni, said at his home in Panaikulam Methanam Kattileparampil that he had sent people to Cambodia after escaping from the fraud gang by buying Rs 3 lakhs.

Sexchat is under the guise of a Chinese company-run gambling den in Cambodia. Many people, including Anshul, who came here were given fake profile IDs in the names of young women and forced to sexchat with foreigners. Anshul said that their job was to chat and bring them down. Anshul said that a person should earn at least thirty dollars for the company by chatting.

Many people, including Malayalis, have been caught in the net of international sexchat gangs. Anshul says that after being told that she was offered a job as a typist and could not do sexchat work, she was locked in a room and denied food and water.

The matter was reported to the Indian Embassy in Cambodia, but the reply was that nothing could be done. Anshul said that the Cambodian police was also informed but no action was taken and later he escaped. Binanipuram police registered a case on Anshul’s complaint.
