In Kerala, transgender couple getting married to play the accordion with parental consent on Valentine’s Day is going viral on social media.
Shiyama, a bride from Thiruvananthapuram, works in the transgender section of the Kerala Social Justice Department. The groom from Thrissur is working in Manu IT Company. Prabha and Shiyama have fallen in love and decided to get married. After obtaining permission from their parents, they also sought the High Court’s permission from the government to register their marriage under the Transgender Rights Protection Act 2019.
On Valentine’s Day yesterday, the wedding was celebrated with the blessing of all in the presence of parents and relatives on the decorated stage. They said, “We are finalizing the paperwork for access to the Kerala High Court. We will go to court after everything is fixed. ” And thank you to everyone who helped make their romantic marriage a success.
