An indictment was filed this weekend in the Kfar Saba Magistrate’s Court against Ilana Sporta, 64, for extorting threats from Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, and holding and carrying weapons (ammunition), while sending threatening letters to addresses in Raanana.

On April 25, 2002, the first letter was received by the Raanana College Secretariat. The contents of the letter were checked by a security guard and the letter was handed over to the police.

The indictment is based on a manuscript opinion, documentation of security cameras in which the defendant is seen allegedly preparing the two letters, documentation of her activities on social networks, various testimonies collected and additional evidence.
