The Central District Attorney’s Office submitted to the Central District Court an indictment against the abominable Barkhat Abu Esa of Tel Sheva for rape under aggravated circumstances, abuse of a minor and breaking into a building.
The indictment submitted by the lawyer David Inbar indicates that Abu Essa broke into the complainant’s house in the dead of night on 2.2.23, masked and equipped with rolls of thick sticky tape. At that time, the complainant woke up from her sleep, and when she saw Abu Essa bursting into the apartment through the balcony, she started screaming and calling for help. Despite this, Abu Essa attacked her, forced her with the sticky tape over her mouth, her eyes, her wrists when they were behind her back, and her legs, and threatened her: “Shut up or I’ll kill you!”. All this, when the complainant is struggling and crying for help, and in front of her two-year-old son, who is standing next to them and crying.
Later, Abu Essa led the complainant to the empty medical center room, and after a while cut the bonds of her knees and ankles and raped her, while ignoring her cries. After that, the respondent untied the complainant and told her that she had grown children who could help her get free , went to the kitchen, took out a bottle of beer from the fridge, drank from it and fled the apartment – not before the complainant’s other son woke up, noticed him and talked to him.
In addition to the indictment, a request was made to detain the accused until the end of the legal proceedings against him.
