A real estate firm has announced that it will offer a luxury Tesla car as a bonus for the purchase of a newly built five-bedroom house. This strange but profitable ad went viral as soon as it came out, many people enjoyed it.

News channel TVNZ 1 reported that the ad featured a “brand new Tesla and a brand new house” in a different ad.

Barfoot & Thomson sales agent Kapil Rana floated the idea, saying it was a “bonus” rather than an added cost to the vehicle’s market value.

Tesla cars sell for around $72,400 in New Zealand. The home listed for sale is valued at approximately $1.8 million. Rana said she has received more than 50 emails since the ad came out on Tuesday.

Despite this, with 400 vacant homes on the market for months, no one has come forward to buy the home in the suburb. Demand for housing has fallen sharply due to high interest rates.
