Today, 3 Toll Roads Leading to Indonesia’s 79th Independence Day Open for Ceremony
August 10, 2024 – Starting today, Saturday, three toll roads leading into the Indonesian Capital (IKN) will be temporarily open to the public for the 79th Indonesian Independence Anniversary ceremony on August 17, 2024. The IKN Toll Road will be open from August 10-18, 2024.
The 3 toll sections in question are:
Segment 3A Karang Joang-KKT Kariangau (13.4 km)
Segment 3B, KKT Kariangau-Simpang Tempadung (7.33 km)
These sections were specifically chosen to meet the needs of the guests invited to the Republic of Indonesia Independence Day ceremony at IKN.
While the IKN Toll Road is open for the ceremony, it is not accessible to the general public. It is only available to event attendees and related personnel.
“With this toll road, of course travel time can be shortened,” said Danis Hidayat Sumadilaga, Leader of the IKN Infrastructure Development Implementation Task Force.
