Today, Friday, the second round of the Stars League competitions for the current season (2024-2025) will be completed, with four matches being held in the stadiums of Baghdad and the provinces.
The correspondent of the (INA) stated, “The Al-Shaab International Stadium will host, at five-thirty, the match of the Air Force team with the one coming from the south, Al-Mina Al-Basri, in a difficult test for the Falcons aspiring to compensate, while the Najaf Olympic Stadium will witness at the same time the Al-Qasim team’s match against the Al-Kahraba challengers.” .
He added, “The Najaf team will be a guest of Karbala at its home stadium at eight o’clock in the evening in the Middle Euphrates derby, while at the same time Dohuk Stadium will host the North derby, which brings together Dohuk and its counterpart Erbil.”
It is noteworthy that the second round competitions began yesterday, Thursday, and its results resulted in Al-Shorta defeating Diyala with a clean six-point win, Al-Naft defeating Al-Karma with two unanswered goals, Al-Zawraa defeating Al-Karkh with two goals to one, and Zakho tied with Newroz with one goal each.
