At the event held at its headquarters, Tillard highlighted that on this 150th anniversary, more than celebrating the bank’s recovery, the entity celebrates “that today it is the main regional bank in Argentina.”

In this framework, the president highlighted two milestones in recent history. The first, in 2004, when it was transformed into a public limited company by the then governor José Manuel de La Sota. The second, in 2011, when Governor Juan Schiaretti put co-participation as a guarantee to capitalize the entity, which allowed progress in its regularization.

For his part, Calvo assured that Bancor is one of the strongest institutions in the country. Meanwhile, Passerini stressed that it has 153 branches throughout the province.
