The final match of the Asian Under-23 Olympic Teams Championship will be held at 6:30 pm today, Friday, at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium at Al Sadd Club, bringing together the Japanese team and its Uzbek counterpart.
The correspondent of the (INA) reported, “The two teams presented distinguished levels in the tournament and fully deserved to qualify for the final match after topping their groups in the first round.”
He added, “The Japanese team qualified for the final match after defeating our Olympic team with two clean goals, while the Uzbek team won this match after defeating the Indonesian team with two goals to nothing.”
It is noteworthy that our Olympic team reserved the third qualifying ticket for the Paris Olympics (2024) after defeating its Indonesian counterpart yesterday by two goals to one.
