Today.. Lions of Mesopotamia meet their Saudi counterparts in the Arab Handball Championship

Our national handball team for juniors will play its third match at eight o’clock this evening, Saturday, when it meets its Saudi counterpart in the Peace Hall, as part of the competitions of the first Arab Championship for Juniors (Zone of the Levant and the Gulf), held in the province of Najaf Al-Ashraf, with the participation of the teams of Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, and Syria.

The correspondent of the (INA) reported that “the Lions of Mesopotamia have completed their preparations for this match and aspire to achieve a positive result after the setback in the previous match against their Bahraini counterpart.”
He added, “The Jordan-Bahrain match will precede our national team’s match, which will be held at six o’clock in the evening.”
It is noteworthy that the Lions of Mesopotamia started their journey in the tournament by defeating their Jordanian counterpart with a score of (40-28) goals, while they lost their second match against the Bahraini team with (35-18) goals.
