Pecco Bagnaia’s attitude has certainly been contradictory in the MotoGP Sprint Race. The Ducati rider finished on the podium, but not without controversy. Specifically when Marc Márquez gave him an overtake and they both brushed against each otherand that seemed to bother Bagnaia, who raised his hand in protest at 93.
However, he seems to have no intention of discussing it. Despite having visibly complained after the overtaking, his post-race statements were totally neutral, without invoking any controversy: “The races you remember are those in which there are aggressive overtaking, they should allow us to do it”, were his words to throw the subject to the ground.
“As long as you don’t throw another rider to the ground and stay in bounds there should be no penalties in my opinion”, believes the official Ducati rider. However, he has put the taunt against Márquez: “Today, in my opinion, Marc was aggressive, but they did well not to penalize him. The mistake was sanctioning me in Jerez.
