jpnn.comJAKARTA – Bunga Citra Lestari’s (BCL) husband, Tiko Aryawardhana, is scheduled to undergo another examination on Tuesday (16/7).
He will be questioned by investigators as a witness in connection with the alleged embezzlement case worth Rp. 6.9 billion.
The news was revealed by the Head of the Criminal Research Unit (Kasat Reskrim) of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Bintoro recently.
“Considering that Mr. Tiko needs to collect the existing evidence, the examination will continue on Tuesday, July 16, 2024,” said AKBP Bintoro as reported by Antara.
AKBP Bintoro said that so far the police have questioned around nine witnesses including Tiko Aryawardhana’s ex-wife, AW.
Tiko Aryawardhana had previously undergone an examination at the South Jakarta Metro Police on Thursday (11/7).
“The examination consisted of 41 questions directed at Mr. TP,” he explained.
According to AKBP Bintoro, the South Jakarta Metro Police provided an opportunity for mediation for both parties.
“The purpose of the law is not only certainty of justice, but also benefit, if it is beneficial for both parties, we will support it,” he continued.
It is known that Tiko Aryawardhana was reported by his ex-wife, Arina Winarto (AW) on suspicion of embezzling Rp. 6.9 billion.
AW accused her ex-husband of embezzling funds when the two had a business together from 2015 to 2021.
AW suspects that the embezzlement occurred when Tiko Aryawardhana served as director of the business he built. (ded/jpnn)
