There are many initiatives taking place in the region these days, integrated into programs commemorating the 50th anniversary of the 25th of April.
On a musical level, for this Wednesday, the 24th, the concerts by José Cid, Diogo Piçarra, Ana Bacalhau, Teresa Salgueiro and Ricardo Ribeiro stand out.
The performance of Jose Cid will take place at Portimão Arena, starting at 9pm. Entrance is free by collecting tickets in advance at the reception of the Portimão Arena, Museu de Portimão and TEMPO – Teatro Municipal de Portimão.
Another well-known name in the music scene is Diogo Piçarrawhich will perform at Doca de Faro, from 10pm.
In Albufeira, tonight’s music has as its protagonist Teresa Salgueiro, which was the voice of the Madredeus. The performance, which takes place at Paços do Concelho, starting at 9:30 pm, is accompanied by videomapping and ends with fireworks.
In Silves, the party takes place on the riverside and includes a concert by Ana Bacalhaufrom 10:30 p.m.
In Vila Real de Sto. António, there is a concert hosted by the fado singer Ricardo Ribeiroat Praça Marquês de Pombal (10pm).
Tomorrow, Thursday, April 25th, we highlight two other concerts: in Loulé, Sergio Godinho performs at Largo do Monumento Engº Duarte Pacheco (9pm) and in São Brás de Alportel there is a concert starring the Alentejo singer Buba Espinho (Largo de São Sebastião, 9:30 pm).
