Greta Thunberg dedicates this Friday’s climate strike to “solidarity with the Palestinians and Gaza”. “The world needs to make her voice heard and call for an immediate ceasefire, justice and freedom for the Palestinians and all civilians involved,” the young Swedish climate activist wrote in a tweet.
In the photo attached to the tweet, Greta shows a sign reading ‘Support Gaza’, and next to her three other activists with signs and a Palestinian flag. Among them, as can be seen from one of the messages, was also a young Jewish woman. The writing on the sign of the girl next to Greta reads: “This Jew is aligned for Palestine”.
