Today we celebrate Saint Joseph Pelczar, bishop who promoted education and social promotion Every January 19 we celebrate Saint Joseph Sebastian Pelczar (1842-1924), co-founder, together with Sister Ludwika Szczęsna, of the Sisters Servants of the Sacred Heart of Jesus from Krakow. Pelczar served in different ecclesiastical positions with the same nobility and pastoral ardor. He was bishop of Przemyśl (Poland). Read more
