According to the Bhubaneswar center of IMD, heavy to very heavy rains (7 to 20 cm) are expected in Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Boudh, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Bhadrak, Balasore, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Bolangir, Nuapada, Nayagarh, Khurda, Jagatsinghpur, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Kalahandi districts on Thursday. According to the center, heavy rains have been forecast in Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Bargarh, Keonjhar, Sambalpur and Deogarh districts on Friday (August 2).
