She was evacuated during resuscitation operations for further treatment at Schneider Hospital in Petah Tikva, where her pulse returned, but this morning she passed away.
Rescue paramedics, Harshi Ortner and David Amron said last night: “When we arrived at the scene, we found a 4-month-old baby who was unconscious with no pulse and no breathing.”
This afternoon after her death, the body arrived at the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Abu Kabir at the request of the police to perform an external examination and CT scan. The institute, headed by Dr. Chen Kugel, made every effort to give an opinion in accordance with the hospital’s medical material, thus releasing the body for burial tonight.
After vigorous activity by the rabbi of the institute, Rabbi Asher Landau, the rabbi of the police, Rabbi Rami Berchiahu, as well as the office of MK Uri Maklev and Dr. Gili Kadmon of Schneider Hospital, the body was released for burial.
