jpnn.comJAKARTA – The National Alms Agency (BAZNAS) together with the Association of Alms Management Organizations (POROZ) continues to strive to empower mustahik.
One of them is through the distribution of the ZAuto Program to 133 beneficiaries in the Jabodetabek area.
POROZ is an association of non-profit and independent zakat management institutions, as a forum for gathering Zakat Collection Institutions (LAZ), especially those based on Islamic mass organizations.
Among them are NU Care-LAZISNU, Lazismu, LAZ Persis, LAZNAS Da’wah Council, Baitul Maal Hidayatullah (BMH), Zakat Inspiration Forum (WIZ), and LAZNAS Al-Irsyad.
“We hope to provide the necessary job opportunities and training, so that mustahik can have adequate skills and be able to compete in the world of work, especially in the automotive sector,” said Head of BAZNAS RI for Distribution and Utilization, Saidah Sakwan, MA., in his statement in Jakarta, Friday (26/7).
Saidah emphasized that the program is a real manifestation of joint efforts to help those in need, especially those who need assistance to improve their standard of living.
“In Islam, helping others, especially those in need, is an obligation. With this ZAuto program, we together practice Islamic teachings in our daily lives,” he explained.
Saidah invited all parties to continue to support and participate in mustahik empowerment programs initiated by BAZNAS and partners, so that they can have a big impact on the lives of mustahik in the future.
