DARUMA RE BONSAI is a collaboration piece by name between DWS, who has been working on the interior and exterior art of KOMEHYO SHIBUYA since its opening, and TOUFU TOKYO, who is producing RE BONSAI, which colors the 4th floor “RELAY” space. ™ “KAI” display and sell. A group of artists based in Tokyo who are active domestically and internationally, and who improved and reinterpreted the traditional Japanese suminagashi technique, creating a unique style they named “shikinagashi.”

Bonsai artist Yoshio Suzuki breathes new life into withered bonsai. Although I am a bonsai artist, I do not necessarily grow bonsai trees. We produce “RE BONSAI™” products, which are end-of-life bonsai, discarded bonsai, and dried and recycled into bonsai with colorful branches with leaves added as art.
RE BONSAI™ works can be seen on the streets of Shibuya, at the Shinjuku Isetan Men’s Building luxury department store, and at the Disney Store.

POPUP Project “Exhibition of famous items I came across”
We will be holding a POPUP event “Exhibition of Famous Items Produced by Me” based on the theme of ”Meet the love you want to connect”, which is the theme of the 3rd floor of MIRAI KOMEHYO SHIBUYA.
This is an event that brings together “lovers who want to connect,” from so-called “signature items” from famous brands to archival items from popular designers that took an era.
