Tokmok deputy who threatened a Yandex.Taxi employee was released under house arrest

Deputy of the Tokmok City Council Kairat Chokeyev, who threatened to kill an employee of the Yandex.Taxi office, was released under house arrest. On April 6, “Kloop” was informed about this at the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region.

The decision was made by the Alamedinskiy District Court. The judge granted the investigator’s motion to change the measure of restraint against Chokeyev. The police did not say why the deputy was released under house arrest, referring to the “secrecy of the investigation.” The police added that the investigation into this case is still ongoing.

Chokeyev was detained on March 9. It is known that during the search they found cartridges. The Alamedinskiy District Court ruled that Chokeyev was to be kept in custody until May 6.

On February 26, City Kenesh deputy Cholpon Sydykova published a video and reported threats to employees of the newly opened office of the company. She stated that she identified the deputies of the Tokmok City Kenesh Kairat Chokeyev and Zafar Abraimov.

According to the police, on the same day, a woman applied to the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Sverdlovsk district of Bishkek. She reported that at 4:00 pm, unknown persons entered the office of the Saltanat Keiji company in Tokmok, aggressively took one of the employees out and threatened with physical violence and arson of the office.

“The company’s advertising banner worth 3,000 soms was torn apart and the company’s employees were forced to leave the city of Tokmok. The fact was registered with the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Sverdlovsk region and, by territoriality, was transferred to the Internal Affairs Department of the city of Tokmok for consideration, ”the police said.

In addition, the deputy was previously associated with an attack on the ex-deputy of parliament Omurbek Tekebaev.
