Tom Brady Proud of Shedeur Sanders and Offers Advice on Cars

by time news

Tom Brady, the legendary former NFL quarterback, expressed his pride in Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders during an appearance on the “Let’s Go!” podcast hosted by Sanders’ father, Deion Sanders. The discussion turned to Shedeur’s choice of vehicles, particularly whether he needs a new Rolls-Royce.

Deion Sanders asked Brady for his opinion on whether a college kid like Shedeur should have a luxury car like a Rolls-Royce Phantom. Shedeur interjected, clarifying that it was a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, not a Phantom. Brady, known for his disciplined approach to the game, suggested that Shedeur should spend more time in the film room rather than behind the wheel of a fancy car.

The conversation continued, with Shedeur pointing out that Brady himself has been spotted in a Rolls-Royce. Brady clarified that it was only a rental and that he had a few bucks to spare at the time.

Shedeur’s success on the field and his relationship with Brady were further discussed on the podcast. Shedeur recently led Colorado to a thrilling double overtime victory against Colorado State, with a remarkable drive that included a 98-yard touchdown and a two-point conversion in the final minute of regulation.

Brady commended Shedeur’s growth and maturity, expressing his pride in watching him succeed. He also mentioned that they have maintained contact through text messages and spoke highly of Shedeur’s potential.

The podcast, hosted by sportscaster Jim Gray, also touched on the difference between the advice Shedeur receives from his father and coach compared to that of Brady, who has experience as an NFL quarterback.

While Shedeur admitted that he understands his father’s advice since he has heard it throughout his life, receiving guidance from Brady carries a different weight because he has been in the quarterbacks’ shoes himself.

Colorado’s next game is against Oregon, which will be televised by ABC. As for “Brady mode,” the retired quarterback jokingly mentioned that it now revolves around his golf game and hitting 98-yard sand wedges.

Tom Brady congratulated Shedeur for his accomplishments and expressed his unwavering support, emphasizing that this is just the beginning for the young quarterback.
