American superstar Tom Cruise (62) is expected to perform at the 2024 Paris Olympics closing ceremony, delivering the Olympic rings to the United States.
American entertainment media TMZ reported on the 2nd that Cruise will perform a stunt at the closing ceremony to be held on the 12th (Korean time).
According to the media, Cruz will perform a performance himself, climbing a rope from the top of the Stade de France stadium where the closing ceremony will be held, landing on the stadium and carrying the Olympic rings.
Cruise will then fly to Los Angeles, the host city for the 2028 Olympics, where he will skydive over the Hollywood Sign, a LA landmark, and hand the Olympic rings to the athletes. This will be played via a pre-recorded video.
It is known that this method of transferring the Olympic rings was proposed directly by Cruz to the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
