Toma-Soliman expressed support for terrorists, the right attacked: “Lapid’s accomplice”

by time news

An uproar in the political system following a post published earlier today by Member of Knesset Aida Toma-Soliman (Hadash-Ta’al), when she expressed support for the terrorists who were killed last night by the IDF forces in Nablus.

In a post she published on her official Facebook page alongside photos from the terrorists’ funerals this morning, Toma-Soliman wrote: “Nablus said goodbye to our martyrs today. Our Palestinian people said goodbye to their martyrs. As the occupation increases its crimes, resistance increases. This is an important lesson in human history.” This is after the security forces conducted a large operation last night in the heart of Nablus in which a hidden apartment was destroyed which was used as an explosives laboratory for the production of explosive devices, and in the exchange of fire five of the terrorists of the ‘Gov Aryot’ organization were eliminated.

Knesset members from the right were quick to condemn Suleiman’s words. Chairman of the Religious Zionist Party MK Bezalel Smotrich Wrote: “It is impossible to fight terrorism when you form a government with supporters of terrorism! It’s either a Lapid-Ganz government with supporters of terrorism or a full right-wing government for 4 years.”

His faction member MK Simcha Rotman attached the photo of Suleiman’s post and tweeted: “Lapid’s partner. It’s interesting that he didn’t do any situation assessment meetings…”. And Knesset member Ofir Sofer Wrote: “This is Knesset member Shalapid working to get them to vote for her.” MK Itamar Ben Gabir Wrote: “When I say they are supporters of terrorism and terrorists, I mean it. A member of the Knesset whose salary you pay, glorifies and praises the “Shahids”.

Knesset members from the Likud also strongly attacked the post published by Suleiman. MK Shlomo Karai, referring to to tweet In which News 12 commentator Amit Segal asked, “In what universe do Zionist members of the cabinet send soldiers into battle and then are willing to cooperate with those who even support terrorists who shoot at them? Simply crazy.” wrote in response: “In the Lapid-Ganz-Abbas-Tibi galaxy. This is a wonderful universe that was built without the touch of human hands… a universe that will be created if we stay at home on election day. If we sit at home and do not act to stop it, we will get a one-way ticket to the nightmare that Lapid and his partners are planning for us. Go vote Friends, and we will move this malicious government out of the country.”

MK Yoav Kish Wrote On his Twitter account: “On 1.11 it will be determined whether the Israeli government will be: a government led by the left-wing Lapid-Ganz leaning on supporters of terrorism (such as the words of MK Toma Saliman from today) and the Muslim Brotherhood embracing murderers or a national Zionist government led by Benjamin Netanyahu and the National Camp.”

Also in Likud, MK Ofir Katz tweeted: “Lapid went to Nazareth today to make sure that this despicable supporter of terrorism enters the Knesset and crowns him as prime minister. Show me another prime minister in the world who works to bring into his parliament someone who encourages terrorism against his own citizens.” MK Miri Regev story: “To see and not to believe – supporters of terrorism from the hallelujah martyrs are members of the Israeli government. Aida Toma Suleiman cries for the terrorists from Nablus who murdered our soldier and carry out attacks and kill soldiers and civilians on a daily basis. This is Israel’s enemy, no less. She should be sent to live with them in Nablus in the lions’ den!” .

Member of Knesset Galit Distal story On the Twitter account: “Aida Toma-Soliman has published explicit support for the terrorists of Gov Aryot, whom she calls “our martyrs.” The right-wingers who are going to choose the government in which she will star are in a blackout. She is going to have much more influence than the nice trooper troops. And he is nice. Very nice. Not saying it’s not nice. But the Zionist idea is nicer.”

Boaz Bismut, the candidate on the Likud list added: “Tell me who your friends are, I’ll tell you who you are. Aida Toma Suleiman – praises the martyrs and, according to hopes, there is a future as a member of the Lapid government. It’s no coincidence that Lapid is visiting friends in Nazareth on the day of the state memorial to Minister Zeevi found his kind.”

Later in the evening, Defense Minister Benny Gantz posted a tweet in which he wrote: “Proud of the activities of the IDF soldiers and the security forces that prevent terrorism. They will continue to receive full backing for their action which is done professionally and on behalf of the political echelon. Ashamed of elected officials who support terrorists and are willing to allow them to continue to spill the blood of Israeli citizens.” According to Gantz, “MK Aida Toma-Soliman proves once again that the joint list cannot be integrated into the government and cannot be relied upon to establish it. Israel’s security precedes the formation of a coalition.”

As you may recall, the Lions’ Den group grabbed the headlines in recent weeks after carrying out a large number of shooting attacks and attempted terrorist attacks in the Nablus area and other areas, among other things in the shooting attack in which IDF soldier Sgt. and is considered to be primarily responsible for the growing security escalation. Even before last night’s raid in Nablus, terrorist Tamer Kilani, one of the group’s senior leaders, was killed on Saturday night in an Israeli operation in the city’s Kasbah.
