Synopsis
Sebastian and Mia live in Los Angeles, the city of dreams. Sebastian is a pianist, a jazz lover, and has a big goal: to open his own jazz bar. Mia works in a café but aspires to become a great actress. Their first meeting occurs on a freeway during rush hour, and they argue. Soon after, Mia coincidentally visits the venue where Sebastian is playing music, but he ignores her as he storms out after a fight with his boss. Months later, Mia and Sebastian meet at a party, and despite initially stating that nothing will ever happen between them, they become a couple. Throughout their relationship, both strive to make their dreams come true in spite of the challenges they face and to stay together, which proves to be extremely difficult…
The film stars Emma Stone, who won the Best Actress Oscar for her performance, and Ryan Gosling, who was nominated for the same award in the corresponding category.
