Villages in Papua New Guinea’s Enga province have been leveled after a lethal landslide, leaving no less than 300 folks and 1,182 houses buried in mud.
Because the island’s nationwide newspaper Publish Courier experiences immediately, a whole bunch of persons are feared lifeless within the landslide that hit the neighborhood of Kaokalam, about 600 kilometers northwest of the capital Port Moresby, round 3 am on Friday (native time).

The governor of the province, Peter Ipatas, clarified that the big landslide affected “no less than six villages”, talking of an “unprecedented pure catastrophe”.
