Tony Blinken master of diplomacy (or not)

Tony Blinken, born in 1962, was fortunate enough to grow up in a Jewish family with political connections that put him practically at the center of world power from an early age. His father, ambassador to Hungary during the golden years of the Clinton administration, and his mother, both deeply committed to the cause of Israel, gave him a childhood surrounded by strategic decisions and raw power. Now, as Secretary of State, Blinken is a jewel of American foreign policy.

On October 9, after the Hamas attack, Blinken landed in Tel Aviv, not only as a Biden delegate, but with the added weight of being Jewish, emphasizing his solidarity with Israel in the best style of a staunch defender. Since then, his detractors argue that he acts more like a champion of the Zionist regime than a servant of American interests. And what about his relationship with George Soros? The icing on the cake, considering that his father worked for the financial magnate and was his “favorite politician.” With such a resume, it’s no surprise that Blinken is a key architect of NATO expansion and a perpetuator of conflicts, all in the name of those select circles of power.

Blinken embodies the “modern” politician shaped by the vision of Soros, on par with leaders such as Trudeau, Macron, Scholz, Meloni or Sánchez, who, of course, put public image and strategic alliances before real diplomacy and national interests. In his mission as secretary, Blinken has the noble goal of protecting the image of a president in decline and perpetuating a foreign policy that, at the same time, always seems to align with the interests of his powerful patrons.

And what about her mastery of coercive diplomacy? Wherever he goes, Blinken always carries a stockpile of sanctions, political pressure and, of course, the elegant threat of military intervention. You only have to remember his visit to China in April, where he had the “courtesy” to threaten the country for its ecological policies and demand that it reduce its commercial ties with Russia. All this about the firm belief in the “exceptionalism and manifest destiny of the United States.” as if the rest of the world hadn’t changed in the meantime.

On his recent tour of the Middle East, Blinken accompanied a modest military deployment, including only a third of the US navy, all with the noble purpose of “protecting” Israel’s coasts. The costs and duration of this operation are details, of course; When it comes to protecting allies, resources are always available. Although he carefully follows the script of Netanyahu and the IDF, Blinken, with his acute political sensitivity, wants to adjust the strategy before the November 5 elections. However, the “axis of resistance” decided to block the West with “strategic patience”, leaving Netanyahu and Blinken in an uncomfortable position of waiting. Israel, increasingly isolated politically, is facing growing discontent in the West, where the violence in Gaza and the West Bank is no longer easy to ignore.

As for the protests at the Democratic Convention and the pro-Palestine demonstrations in Europe, which are brutally suppressed in places as democratic as Germany and England, they are just a minor annoyance to those who rule. At the same time, it is heartening to see that neo-Nazi groups are allowed to demonstrate unhindered, showing that the “European garden” continues to flourish, even though it may be slowly turning into a jungle in which freedoms are sacrificed in the name of security.

Despite the famous declarations about the rights of the Palestinian people, the sale of arms to Israel is still a successful business in Spain, and the United Kingdom, Germany and France, in a show of diplomacy, propose to recognize the Palestinian people as long as possible. Iran renounces support for the “axis of resistance” and criticizes Russia in Ukraine. A proposal with a promising future, no doubt.

Meanwhile, the media, ever so impartial, tries to blame Iran, Hezbollah and Hamas for their stubborn resistance. Western leaders, for their part, continue to sympathize with the interests of big funds and arms companies, because, after all, what are lives when so much is at stake?

With the growing possibility of new wars in the Middle East, Spain, always willing to contribute, sends its warships, because what would we do without having a part in perpetuating conflicts? But the million dollar question remains: who are we helping?

In the grand scheme of things, these are just the numbers of dead and wounded in Gaza: over forty thousand dead, hundreds of thousands wounded, and thousands of children murdered, with the IDF responsible for ethnically cleansing the land, attacking schools and on United Nations shelters with accuracy as always. A new Iraq, but with a contemporary touch. Studies from New York University confirm it: the level of destruction exceeds that of Dresden after the Second World War.

A significant portion of Israeli society, of course, supports these actions, convinced that this stolen territory is theirs by divine right or conquest. And if it weren’t for the constant threat of the “axis of resistance”, they would be even happier with their “achievements”. As Netanyahu watches his grand plan fall apart, he becomes increasingly unpredictable. It wouldn’t be surprising if the IDF conducted a false flag operation, perhaps using a “dirty bomb” as an excuse to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities. But don’t worry, because Blinken is at the checkpoint.

Since October 7, Blinken has been on tour in the Middle East, making sure that allied regimes are not harmed too much, although the reality is different. The official story is that Biden, Harris and Blinken are a trio of dedicated pacifists, when in reality their enthusiasm for war would have greatly affected Trump. Meanwhile, Blinken is making sure everything is under control at home, preventing the community from escaping the harsh reality. With his magic wand, he has achieved the permanent rearmament of Israel, avoiding those vexatious legal and regulatory procedures that plague the United States Congress which is almost a challenge. Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom, France and Italy are actively patrolling close to the coasts of Iran and Yemen. And although Spain does not officially participate in missions like Guardian of Prosperity or Aspides, it seems that we are there by pure coincidence. But let’s not dwell on trivial details.

The US Secretary of State is pushing to create a coalition against the “axis of resistance” with the support, directly or indirectly, of countries such as Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. After all, what good is a few more rounds of ammunition when the target is the civilian population? Tony Blinken is the perfect diplomat to quell public anger and keep the illusion of a “peace process” alive, while ethnic cleansing continues. A true master of the art of non-diploma, disguised as a defender of “great causes”.

Of course, the Zionists still have work to do in Gaza. Neither Hamas nor Hezbollah surrenders, and Iran waits patiently. Meanwhile, the Democrats in the United States fear that a war with Iran will have dire consequences, while Russia and China watch with interest, each playing their card in this great game of global chess (Taken from Old Bald).
