The 72-year-old Who’s The Boss? actor regaled the crowd with a spectacular performance, joined by Peter Cincotti on the keys, as well as an impressive ukulele act.
Among the celebrity guests were renowned musician CeeLo Green, Oscar-winning actress Marcia Gay Harden, and respected journalist Katie Couric. The celebration continued on Friday with the grand opening of Michelin-star chef Michael White’s Paranza at The Cove, attended by a host of A-listers, including fashion icons Georgina Chapman and supermodel Alex Lundqvist as well as actors Adrien Brody and Nico Tortorella, who all jetted into the Bahamas to join the festivities.
However, amid the glitz and glamour, controversial events from the 1980s came to light as it was revealed in John Stamos’ new memoir that Tony Danza was accused of stealing Stamos’ girlfriend at the time, Teri Copley. Copley has since denied the claim, asserting that she and Stamos had already split up by the time the alleged incident took place. She articulated the details in stark contrast to what Stamos has written in his memoir, “If You Would Have Told Me.”
