Tony Danza Hosts Star-Studded 25th Anniversary at Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas

As Atlantis Paradise Island celebrated its 25th anniversary at the Bal de Royale in the Bahamas over the weekend, it was not just the luxury destination’s milestone that was the talk of the evening. Hosting the star-studded event was none other than veteran actor Tony Danza. The 72-year-old Who’s The Boss? actor regaled the crowd with a spectacular performance, joined by Peter Cincotti on the keys, as well as an impressive ukulele act.

Among the celebrity guests were renowned musician CeeLo Green, Oscar-winning actress Marcia Gay Harden, and respected journalist Katie Couric. A press release revealed that the high-energy evening concluded with a performance by CeeLo, including hits like “Crazy” and covers of classics like “Sweet Child O’ Mine” and “All Night Long.”

Fashion designer Cynthia Rowley and her lookalike daughter Kit Clementine Keenan made a stunning appearance, coordinating in matching light-colored mini dresses and open-toe heels. Katie Couric walked in with her husband John Molner, showcasing a stylish navy blue look, and Danish supermodel Helena Christensen wowed in a summery floral print dress.

The celebration continued on Friday with the grand opening of Michelin-star chef Michael White’s Paranza at The Cove, attended by a host of A-listers, including fashion icons Georgina Chapman and supermodel Alex Lundqvist as well as actors Adrien Brody and Nico Tortorella, who all jetted into the Bahamas to join the festivities.

However, amid the glitz and glamour, controversial events from the 1980s came to light as it was revealed in John Stamos’ new memoir that Tony Danza was accused of stealing Stamos’ girlfriend at the time, Teri Copley. Copley has since denied the claim, asserting that she and Stamos had already split up by the time the alleged incident took place. She articulated the details in stark contrast to what Stamos has written in his memoir, “If You Would Have Told Me.”

The night was a whirlwind of glamour, festivity, and an incident of decades-old drama, but guests at Atlantis Paradise Island’s 25th anniversary will undoubtedly cherish the memories of a weekend filled with music, laughter, and stylish red-carpet moments for years to come.
