Tony Parker, president of the Villeurbanne basketball club, will host a weekly show from September 15 on behalf of the competition’s broadcaster, Skweek.
In this program called the «Skweek Show by Tony Parker»the greatest French basketball player in history “gets away from the pitch with a weekly meeting to have fun and talk about sport in a different way through basketball and lifestyle culture”according to the platform’s press release this Friday.
Every Friday in the clear at 6 p.m., the former leader “welcomes you to his home with his friends to discuss basketball, sport, but also cinema, music, social debates”.
Asvel (Villeurbanne) announced on August 14 that it had concluded “a major partnership” with Skweek, for a common goal: “the highlighting of French basketball at the very highest level”.
Skweek, an OTT platform launched in October 2022 by Fedcom, the group founded by Aleksej Ferdoricsev, owner of the Monaco basketball club, purchased in June the rights to the French championship (Elite) until 2030, with La Chaîne L’Equipe .
Broadcast on its website and its application, it has already broadcast, since last season, the Euroleague for men (in which Monaco and Asvel participate) and women (Asvel women).
