Parking time limited to 90 minutes
Because shortly after the coffee gossip, the man received a hefty parking fine of 75 euros. “I was sure that the penalty only applies to car drivers who illegally use the parking lot here, for example to go to the Graz trade fair – I was able to prove with my bills that I have always been here,” he said Affected to the Kleine Zeitung.

But exactly the length of stay recorded on the bill should lead to the salty penalty. “Depending on the location, there is a limited parking time,” explains Wilhelm Baldia, press spokesman for McDonald’s, in an interview with “Today”. “At locations where there is a lot going on, for example near train stations or at the airport, parking time is limited to 90 minutes. So that guests are not surprised, this is also explained on signs.”
According to Baldia, if you want to stay seated longer and without penalty, you can get a parking card for your car from the responsible employees on request.
