«There was way too much nervousness. I found the players very nervous, there was a lot of discussion, over-commitment, and out of frustration the match degenerated. It should have been better controlled by all the components. But the red card does not explain our poor first period, we let ourselves be locked up by the opponent. Paradoxically I found my team better in numerical inferiority, we played better, with more movements, fluidity. But the end of the match was very stormy, for everyone. We can regret it, we can do better than that. We must not overreact, it’s obvious, I often talk about it, I’ll clarify things again, we can’t get ourselves into trouble like that. We lose players because of a lack of skill when we have very high level players.»
