Top 14: where did the Racing 92 public go?

What’s wrong with Paris La Défense Arena? On the concert side, the Nanterre performance hall is certainly almost full with stars like Orelsan, Angèle, Bruce Springsteen, Pink, Stromae or Céline Dion, all expected in 2022-2023. But it is on the side of the oval ball that things no longer go very well. Racing 92, which has played its home games here since 2017, does not attract crowds. With 12,000 spectators on average last season, in an enclosure that can easily accommodate more than double, Jacky Lorenzetti’s club was already in the soft underbelly of the Top 14 in terms of attendance.
