Tata’s mini SUV Panch has received a 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP. It scored 16.45 points (5 stars) in crash testing. Panch has scored 40.89 out of 49 for child safety. The car also aced the side impact crash test. Safety features include dual airbags (standard), ABS, front seat belt reminder, rear parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat anchor, auto headlamps and wipers and low-traction mode to prevent skidding.
Mahindra XUV300
Mahindra’s sub-4 meter SUV scored 16.42 points out of a 5-star rating for adults and 37.44 points with 4 stars for child safety. The car has also passed GNCAP’s side crash test. Safety features on the car include six airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, front parking sensors, ESC, tire pressure monitoring system, rear parking camera, seat belt reminder and disc brakes on all four wheels.

Tata Ultras
Currently, it is the safest hatchback car in India. It has also received a 5-star rating from GNCAP. It scored 16.13 out of 17 points for adult safety. However, it scores 29 out of 49 points (3 stars) for child safety. The car has passed the side impact crash test. It gets dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, seat belt reminder for front seats and ISOFIX child seat mounts, height adjustable front seat belts, rear parking camera.
Tata Nexon
The compact SUV has received a 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP. The car scored 16.06 out of 17 (5 stars) in adult safety. Scored 25 out of 49 in child protection. The car has also passed GNCAP’s side crash test. Safety features on this car include dual airbags (standard), ABS, front seat belt reminder, rear parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat anchor, auto headlamps and wipers.
Mahindra XUV700
This 3-row SUV has received a 5-star rating for adult safety. The car scored 16.03 out of 17 in adult safety and 41.66 out of 49 in child safety. The SUV’s body shell and footwell area are also found to be stable and able to withstand frontal loads. Features like 7 Airbags, ADAS, Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Brake are available in this car.
