After many rumors, Barcelona renewed its contract with Nike, and its home kit is half blue and half maroon, paying homage to the first culé jersey dating back to 1899. The Catalan team has not yet presented its away jersey, but social media has speculated that the new shirt would be black.

The first kit of the ‘Rossonero’ squad celebrates the “love for AC Milan that has been passed down from generation to generation, from Milan to the world, since 1899 and forever,” states the club. The away kit stands out for its elegance with a white color combined with red and black details. According to information from the Italian team, the away jersey pays homage to “the origins of AC Milan as a football and cricket club in Milan.”

The Parisian team drew inspiration for its new home jersey from the “urban art scene that defines Greater Paris,” according to the club, and the garment features the “central red stripe, bordered by thin white lines, reinterpreted with a fluid and dynamic brushstroke style.” On the other hand, the away kit pays “homage to an iconic shirt worn by the Paris team during the 1990-91 and 1991-92 seasons, while embodying the innovative spirit of the new generation of the club.”

Atlético Madrid’s home jersey pays tribute, as stated by the rojiblanco club on its official website, to the “memorable 1995/96 season when they achieved the legendary Double by securing the league title and the Copa del Rey.” As for the away shirt, Atlético Madrid revealed that the outfit “pays tribute to the god Neptune, whom we visit when celebrating successes of such magnitude as those achieved in the 1995/96 season.”

The champions of Europe presented their home jersey that respects the traditional colors of the club but features a new design of “pure and minimalist cut that looks back to the origins of the club, elevating its iconic ‘White’,” according to the club’s official site. The new home kit of the ‘Gunners’ stands out for featuring the “cannon” on the chest for the first time since 1990. The cannon refers to Arsenal’s early roots as a football club when workers from the Royal Arsenal in Woolwich formed a team in 1886. The away kit has a plain black base but is enlivened by a generous application of vibrant details and was designed in collaboration with Labrum London, a brand focused on British African culture.

For their home jersey, the Red Devils have avoided abstract graphics and open retro touches in favor of a simple design partly inspired by the “Busby Babes” of Manchester United in the 1950s, whose jerseys were said to shine under the lights of Old Trafford. The away shirt stands out for its navy blue color applied in a series of repeated circular patterns and is a “homage to the 3D monograms that were frequently seen on Manchester United uniforms 30 years ago,” the club stated.

The team led by Pep Guardiola found inspiration for its home games jersey in its “local heritage,” and the kit features the numbers “0161,” a reference to the local telephone code of the city of Manchester. As for the neon blue and navy visitor jersey, the shirt pays tribute to the legends of the 1998-99 season.
The home jersey features a new blue hue symbolizing the “hottest part of a flame and the burning passion to unite the entire club behind a shared ambition for success both on and off the pitch,” the club emphasized. On the other hand, the “boiling caldron” pattern aims to represent the “fusion of the rich legacy of Chelsea with the ever-vibrant youth culture of the city.” The away kit appears white but is actually a very pale orange tone that the manufacturer calls “guava ice.”

The new jersey of the Reds is covered with a chrome yellow angular pattern spelling out the letters “YNWA” (in English) representing the club’s motto, “You’ll Never Walk Alone.” The pattern aims to be a modern reinterpretation of the white stripes that adorned Liverpool‘s home jersey from 1983-84. The away jersey stands out for its elegance, being black combined with green details.

The new home outfit of the ‘Nerazzurri’ recovers the tricolor shield, and the team highlighted that the jersey “remembers the glorious past of the Club on the chest area, but above all, represents its ambitions for the future.” Regarding the away kit, Inter opted for a white jersey, and its design is inspired by Milan’s “gothic and industrial aesthetic.”

To the relief of many Bayern Munich fans, the Bundesliga giant has confirmed that it will abandon its cursed 2023-24 home jersey and return to a more familiar red design for the upcoming season. The clubs state that the 2024-25 home jersey “reflects the heartbeat and passion that unites players on the field with fans in the stands.” Regarding the away kit, Bayern emphasizes that the outfit shows “the club’s connection to its land with a special combination of colors inspired by Bavaria.”
