Jazan Health Hospitals Achieve Advanced Ranks in Wazen Program
Jazan, Saudi Arabia – In a recent announcement, Jazan Health revealed that several hospitals in the region have achieved advanced ranks in the Wazen program, which aims to measure and improve hospital performance. The program is part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 initiative.
During a press conference, Dr. Mohammed Al-Mozaini, the Director-General of Jazan Health, highlighted the hospitals that have excelled in the program. King Fahd Hospital secured the second rank, boasting more than 300 beds. Following closely behind are Abu Arish General Hospital, Samtah General Hospital, and Baysh General Hospital, ranking second, seventh, and eighth respectively. These hospitals have a bed capacity ranging from 100 to 300.
Additionally, Al-Ardah Hospital secured the second rank in the category of hospitals with 100 beds or less. Meanwhile, Al Harth General Hospital, Al-Eidabi Hospital, Bani Malik General Hospital, and Al-Raith Hospital ranked third, fourth, fifth, and ninth respectively. Notably, Irada Hospital for Mental Health achieved the fourth position in the category of mental health hospitals under the Irada category.
Dr. Al-Mozaini emphasized the importance of the Wazen program in accomplishing the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals. The program aims to measure the achievement of hospital goals through the preparation of performance reports. These reports are then utilized to review and enhance hospital performance, while also providing valuable insights to decision-makers.
