Borussia Mönchengladbach will have to do without center forward Marcus Thuram for the time being. The French suffered a torn muscle fiber in the adductors in Gladbach’s 1-0 defeat against 1. FC Union Berlin last Sunday, as the Bundesliga club announced.

The club did not announce how long Borussia’s top scorer with 13 league goals this season will be out. Thuram leaves Gladbach on a free transfer in the summer. (dpa)
