Torture video released from Russian prison, authorities investigate – Russia

Moscow – Russian authorities have opened an investigation into the release of a video showing alleged rape in a prison. As the Russian Prison Authority (FSIN) announced in Moscow on Tuesday, it has dispatched a team to check the authenticity of the video on site. The recording was released on Monday evening by activists who said they had received hundreds of other torture tapes.
