DIG/ Total Energie EP Gabon achieved, in the first half of 2024, a net result of 53 million dollars (31 billion FCFA), compared to 39 million dollars (23 billion FCFA) in the first half of 2023.
Turnover stood at $244 million. (144 billion francs), up 15% compared to the first half of 2023 thanks to the combined effects of the improvement in average prices of crudes marketed by TotalEnergies EP Gabon (+9%) and the increase in the level of production and volumes of crude sold by the Company (+8%).
Over the first 6 months of the year, TotalEnergies EP Gabon’s crude oil production rose to 17.3 kb/d, up 8% compared to the first half of 2023 (16.0 kb/d). This significant increase in production is driven by the improvement in the availability of the facilities and by the results of well interventions which make it possible to compensate for the natural decline of the fields.
As for oil investments, they have risen to $38 million (22.5 billion FCFA), down from the first half of 2023 ($49 million).
For the 2024 financial year, they mainly cover the well intervention campaign, integrity work on sites, operations and studies relating to the reduction of emissions from our activities.
In 2023, the higher investments in the first half also included the costs of preparing for the five-year shutdown of the Anguille site.
