Tottenham, Premier League | Tottenham up to 4th place in the Premier League – pearl scores ensured victory against Forest

by time news

The lily-whites from London take it over 4th place on better goal difference than Aston Villa. Down to Manchester United in 6th place, the distance has grown to a full eleven points.

Much of the credit for the three points against Forest on Sunday should go to centre-back Van de Ven and right-back Porro anyway. At 1-1, the former hammered Tottenham back into the lead with a brilliant finish with his left foot.

– It cannot be made more beautiful. The centre-back shows how it should be done, said Viaplay commentator Roar Stokke.

Five minutes later, the home crowd was served another kremerhus. A well-struck cross eventually found its way to Porro, who fired Tottenham into a two-goal lead with one touch.

Even before the break, it was full of speed in London.

Tottenham made a dent in the Forest bullpen when centre-back Murillo put the ball into his own net after the quarter had ended in the English capital. A few minutes earlier, the Brazilian had attempted an unparalleled piece of art from his own half, but the finish went just wide.

Just over ten minutes later, the visitors rolled up a sparkling attack, and from 7-8 meters Chris Wood scored 1-1 with an instinctive finish. It was the striker’s twelfth goal in the previous 30 matches.

– No other player in the Premier League is close to being as effective in open play, said Viaplay commentator Stokke.

Ten minutes before the break, however, Wood was not as accurate when he shot the ball into the post from a few metres. Thus it was 1-1 at the break.
