Like all the other Toulouse recruits, Thijs Dallinga, 22, was recruited this summer thanks to “data”, the massive use of performance data. But for the new TFC striker, already author of 2 goals in 4 Ligue 1 games, we imagine that the software must not have been too overworked. Even the untrained eye would have seen it: just look at the ranking of scorers in the Dutch second division (36 goals in 44 games last year with Excelsior Rotterdam).
