Like every year since 1993, the Tour de France will welcome thousands of cyclists during “L’Étape du Tour”. In 2024, this event will be contested on July 7, between Nice and the Col de Couillole.

Four climbs are on the program in the Nice hinterland: the Col de Braus, the Col de Turini, the Col de la Colmiane and the Col de la Couillole. The finish will be judged at the top of this last climb, after nearly 140 km of racing. This is the same route as the 20th stage of the 2024 Tour de France, the route of which was revealed this Wednesday.

Registration from October 31

This is the 32nd time that the organizers of the Grande Boucle have organized this event. Victor Lafay (2018) and Jeannie Longo (2002) notably won it. In 2023, cyclists were able to take on the terrible stage between Annemasse and Morzine. At the end of the 157 km race, with more than 4000 meters of positive altitude difference, the Frenchman Artus Jaladeau and the Czech Martina Sablikova had won.

For this 2024 edition in the Alpes-Maritimes, registrations will be open on Tuesday October 31 at 4 p.m. To participate, you must go through the timeto platform. A great way to test your legs and surpass yourself at the dawn of a very festive and sporty summer.
