Tour de France: Yates remains in yellow and Lafay still in green, the classifications after the third stage

In the general classification, Briton Adam Yates retains his yellow jersey and is six seconds ahead of his runner-up and team-mate Tadej Pogacar. The American Neilson Powless has consolidated his lead in the classification of the best climber’s polka dot jersey.

Thanks to his success in the sprint during the third stage of the Tour de France, the Belgian Jasper Philipsen (Alpecin-Deceunink) returns to equal points with Victor Lafay at the top of the classification for the green jersey but it is the Frenchman who will wear the tunic tomorrow.
