“As part of the advancement of the tourism roadmap, investment in accommodation and entertainment is essential. The objectives, both quantitative and qualitative, include increasing accommodation capacity and enriching the entertainment offer, as well as modernizing hotel infrastructure and innovation in entertainment activities,” the ministry said in a press release.

These actions, supported by improving the competitiveness of tourism businesses, are crucial to welcoming 26 million tourists by 2030, as well as the intermediate objective of 17.5 million in 2026, specifies the same source.

“Since his appointment, our government has been fully committed to the tourism sector, with great ambitions: to raise Morocco among the top 15 global destinations, strengthen the economic impact of tourism, and create 200,000 new jobs,” said the Minister of Tourism, Crafts, Social and Solidarity Economy, Fatim-Zahra Ammor, quoted in the press release.

And to continue: Investment is essential to achieve these objectives. Today, all the conditions are met to invest in Moroccan tourism: a growing destination, a particularly favorable incentive environment, and promising prospects. Now is the time to invest in the sector.”
