Austria

Austria, known all over the world for its ski resorts, is a cherished tourist destination of Russians during the winter holidays. Those wishing to visit this country this year, however, will have to take into account a number of conditions. “For all persons over the age of 12, a trip to Austria for tourism purposes is possible only if they are fully vaccinated against coronavirus or if they have a certificate of previous COVID-19 disease in the last six months,” Austrian national tourism organization Österreich Werbung told DW in response to a request.

Germany

According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), updated on December 12, Russia is on the list of countries with an increased risk of coronavirus infection. At the moment, entry to Germany from the Russian Federation is allowed only in cases where travelers perform an important function or the trip is necessary for urgent, for example, professional reasons.

In addition, entry into Germany is allowed for citizens of the Russian Federation who have a certificate of full vaccination against COVID-19 with one of the EU-approved vaccines (the Russian Sputnik V vaccine is not one of them). Children under the age of 12, even if they have not yet been vaccinated, can enter the Federal Republic of Germany accompanied by at least one fully vaccinated parent.

Everyone arriving in Germany from countries with a high risk of coronavirus infection must fill out a special online form, indicating there personal data and information about the duration of the trip, and after entering the country, spend 10 days in quarantine. Greece

Spain

Finland

Entry to Finland from 28 November is permitted for travelers from countries with a low risk of coronavirus infection, as well as those who have completed a full course of vaccinations using the following vaccines: Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, Sinopharm, Covishield, CoronaVac and Covaxin. The last four of the named drugs are approved by the WHO, although not by the EMA.

Persons who have had covid disease and who have received one vaccination after that no later than 7 days before crossing the border are also considered fully immunized. Inquiries are accepted in Finnish, Swedish and English. Children born in 2006 and later are exempt from restrictions.

It is currently impossible for Russians without the status of fully immunized from covid to come to Finland for tourist purposes.

Italy

Tourist trips to Italy are currently impossible for Russians. Entry into the country for citizens of the Russian Federation without permanent residence in Italy is allowed only for work, treatment, study at a university, as well as in urgent cases.
