Toyota increased the values of the Corolla Cross, vice leader in sales in the medium SUV segment, which starts at R$ 159,890 and no more than R$ 158,290 in the XR entry version, which represents an increase of R$ 1,600. See the new price list that is already practiced on the automaker’s website.
The Toyota Corolla Cross XRE, which previously cost BRL 172,690, is now sold for BRL 174,390, an adjustment of BRL 1,700. The sports version GR-Sport is negotiated for BRL 192,990 and no longer for BRL 191,090, an increase of BRL 1,900. The XRV Hybrid hybrid configuration costs BRL 201,690 and no longer for BRL 199,690, an increase of BRL 2,000. Finally, those who intend to buy the top of the line XRX Hybrid will have to shell out BRL 209,890 and not BRL 207,790, a readjustment of BRL 2,100.
The Toyota Corolla Cross is equipped with an aspirated 2.0-liter engine, which delivers up to 177 hp with a torque of 21.4 kgfm. It also has a hybrid option with a 1.8 liter flex engine with two electric motors, totaling 122 hp. The transmission is automatic CVT type.

Toyota sold 4,511 Corolla Cross units in March and 10,449 units in the year. However, it is still behind the leader Jeep Compass with 6,988 units sold last month and 15,556 units registered between January and March of this year. Data are from Fenabrave.
